Community meeting: Solo practitioners & small firm lawyers
One of the community meetings that Publisher Mike Kramer and I went to at a small law firm got us thinking about the need to do more community meetings with solo lawyers and small law firms.
So, I pitch this idea to these two groups of lawyers: Mike and I will host a community meeting at our offices for solo practitioners and small firm lawyers. This will be a good chance to learn how to get more involved in both the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine. We will also get to learn more about your practices and about trends going on in your practice areas.
We will start the meeting with a visit to the presses in our building so you can see the newspaper being printed and then we will head to a conference room to chat.
It will be 2:30 p.m., Sept. 26, at 415 N. State St. To attend, please RSVP to editor@lbpc.com and put your reservation to my attention. If we get too many people then we will schedule a second meeting. I hope that we do get too many people signed up so that we can host a series of these in-office meetings.
